 Surging sales of foods marketed as made without genetically modified crops are outpacing sales of food labeled organic in U.S. grocery stores. As GMOS continue to be a focus for consumers skeptical of the use of pesticides and GMOs’ safety for human consumption, non-GMO foods have experienced rapid growth, according to data compiled by SPINS.
